They take the scenery routine to the airport, but the heat has melted the ground and they are stuck. They search for cell service and find themselves lost in the woods. Brendan goes home to find his friend waiting for him with a baseball bat. We also talk about Dan Human, a backpacker taking a solo trip through an unbroken trail in the snow. We also talk about Sue Nixon a woman heading to get coffee. She gets to the side of the road when she goes into cardiac arrest. This week we talk about Jack Gershman, a 15 year old off-roading with his father. When they stopped to get their bearings, a man on an ATV pulls up and starts shooting at them. They take off, but Jack is now alone in the woods. We also talk about Ken Scott and his group of friends. They all go skiing on the more experienced slope when an avalanche happens. Luckily one friend is not buried and starts digging them out, but that's when the second avalanche comes. Listen to how they survived now!

This week we talk about Maryann Bruce who is deemed "The Disaster Diva". Throughout her lifetime she has had seven close calls with death including, a terrorist attack, plane crash, an avalanche and more. We also talk about three friends Jim Farrington, Sean Royston and Tolan Annis, who went kayaking on Lake Superior. The weather turned ugly fast and they were fighting six foot waves trying to get back to shore. They all got separated and had to survive on their own. Listen to how they survived now!
